Dear collectors,

There always comes that time when one finds it necessary to sell the cherished stamp collection.  This collection has spanned over 2 generations.  I started out like anyone else.  As the years passed, it became a more serious passion.  I inherited 2 different collections from people like myself who would rather see it pass on to a family member than to sell it.

I have put it into sections for clarity.  The first section is United States postage placed into a 1967 Harris Deluxe Statesman album. Almost all are hinged, many have the glue intact or partial glue.

The second section, set 1, is US postage placed in chronological order.  Following that is air, postage due and special delivery.

Set 2 contains US postage, but not in a chronological order.

Set 3 contains  mostly US postage.

The world section is a mixture of US and world, many hinged and in no order, many in packets, many loose, some still on paper some placed in smaller albums and many with the original envelopes.  The exhibited samples will be the newer more colorful stamps.  The older stamps world stamps are placed within the Harris stamp album.  There are over 200 pages of ‘world’ stamps in the album.  At least every other page contains stamps from that individual country.

These world stamps in the Harris album are not shown on the web site.

All prices for the stamps are taken from Liberty Street Stamp Manage software, an excellent program for anyone wishing to organize their collection and to find out current values. I have visited Ebay and Stampwants.com to compare prices.  I have also visited sites like Mystic and Kenmore stamp companies to see the selling prices and have referred to the Scott stamp catalog for references of going prices.

The desired selling price for the collection is $800.00

Plus shipping.
